Audit question

What is the success rates of epidurals in Critical Care.

Method

3 months worth of consecutive patients admitted to ITU/HDU with epidurals in situ and running. Patients must be GCS 15 to be included.
Pain score measurements.
Agreed criteria for failure of adequate pain relief despite alterations in doses//rates etc.

Aim is to assess failure rates of epidurals on HDU/ITU
